Chihuahua Human Rights Commission launches mobile office in Urique

The Chihuahua State Human Rights Commission (CEDH) has launched its sixth mobile office in San Rafael, located in the municipality of Urique. This initiative aims to bring legal guidance, complaint reception, and human rights training directly to indigenous communities and remote areas that are difficult to access.

The mobile office will operate every two weeks on Thursdays at the San Rafael Municipal Library. Specialized staff, including a Rarámuri language interpreter, will provide legal advice and support for residents who believe their human rights have been violated.

In addition to the new mobile office, the CEDH has implemented several programs to protect indigenous rights, including gender principle training in municipalities like Creel, Guachochi, and Juárez. The commission has also established collaboration agreements to produce informative material in the Rarámuri language and broadcast community-focused radio programming.
