Chihuahua weather: Heavy rains forecast through the weekend

The State Civil Protection Coordination (CEPC) has issued a forecast for heavy rainfall across various regions of Chihuahua from Wednesday through the end of the week. According to the National Meteorological Service, these conditions are driven by the Mexican monsoon over the northwest, fueled by a combination of cyclonic circulation, a trough, a low-pressure channel, and moisture from the Pacific Ocean.

Forecasted precipitation includes moderate to strong showers in areas such as Casas Grandes, Madera, Temósachic, and Moris. Other regions, including Chihuahua, Delicias, and Ojinaga, are expected to experience isolated to dispersed rains. Some areas may also face electrical activity, wind gusts, and potential hail.
