ChiiKawa theatrical preview and exclusive merch launch in Taiwan

The animated film "ChiiKawa: The Secret of Mermaid Island" will open nationwide in Taiwan on July 31. A special two‑day preview will be held on July 25‑26, allowing fans to see the movie a week early.

To mark the release, distributor LingBang Asia is offering limited‑edition ticket bundles and merchandise across major retail outlets. A 7‑Eleven flash sale (until Sept 1) sells a 399 TWD character‑card set that includes a movie exchange voucher and ten new mini‑cards. The "Sailen" oversized head‑bag, priced at 1,250 TWD, is available at the ChiiKawa Shop in Taipei and a pop‑up store on Huashan, bundled with a voucher and two character hair clips. From July 16, Ani‑Mall Taiwan sells a 350 TWD package pairing a movie voucher with a choice of A4 folders featuring ChiiKawa, Little Eight‑Cat, or Rabbit.

Attendees of the July 25‑26 preview who purchase a ticket or present a presale voucher can exchange it for a limited‑quantity inflatable support stick, adding a cheer‑leading atmosphere to the screenings.
