Chișinău residents face new 4.50 lei fee for utility bill payments via Poșta Moldovei

Starting 1 July 2026, the municipal enterprise INFOCOM announced that residents of Chișinău who pay their communal‑service bills through Poșta Moldovei will be charged a commission of 4.50 lei for each receipt. The fee will be paid directly by the consumer rather than being deducted from the managing entities.

INFOCOM processes roughly 330,500 bills each month, so the new commission could generate about 1.5 million lei per month, or 17.8 million lei annually, for Poșta Moldovei. The charge applies to services such as block maintenance, technical equipment servicing, waste transport, lift upkeep and other items listed on the receipts.
