Childhood cancer awareness initiatives launched in Mexico and Spain

September is being observed as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, with various organizations in Mexico and Spain launching initiatives to promote early detection and raise funds for affected families.

In Mexico, the Leones de Yucatán baseball club has partnered with the Mexican Association for Helping Children with Cancer (AMANC). The collaboration aims to increase visibility for early detection through several events in Mérida, including a monumental ribbon ceremony on September 6, a social run on September 19, and a cycling route on September 27.

In Spain, the organization ADANO is hosting the 3rd edition of its 'Fiesta Solidaria' in Berriozar on September 6. The event features live music, games, and a charity raffle to raise funds for programs and services that support families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis.
