Southeast Europe observes Children's Week through various regional activities

Various regions across Southeast Europe and the Balkans are observing Children's Week, a tradition focused on promoting children's rights, solidarity, and community engagement.

In Montenegro, the Volunteers Foundation participated in the GameOBrain festival to teach children the importance of volunteering and donation. In Croatia, celebrations include Krapinsko-zagorska County providing medical equipment to hospitals, Velika Gorica marking 20 years as a child-friendly city, and Koprivnica hosting educational workshops in its city park. Karlovac and Rijeka are also holding events centered on children's voices and community service.

In Serbia, cities like Pirot and Požarevac are organizing workshops, parades, and humanitarian actions. Slovenia's 72nd Children's Week emphasizes the importance of simple kindness and greetings. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Sarajevo Canton is focusing on supporting families at risk of separation through financial aid and social services.
