Chile hosts energy and inclusion-focused job fairs

Chile is hosting two distinct job fairs aimed at addressing specific labor market needs and demographic gaps.

In Concepción, the +Energía Biobío 2026 job fair will take place on October 21 at the Duoc UC campus. Organized by the regional labor and energy secretariats alongside SENCE, the event focuses on the energy sector, including renewable energy, electrical transmission, and storage. It aims to connect students, technicians, and professionals with companies seeking specific profiles in these growing industries.

In Santiago, the ninth edition of Expo Inclusión will be held on October 21 and 22 at Estación Mapocho. This event offers over one thousand job opportunities specifically for elderly individuals and people with disabilities. The initiative comes as Chile's unemployment rate reached 9.6% in the June-August quarter. This year's edition features an artificial intelligence platform to help participants receive curriculum recommendations and skill assessments to assist in their job searches.
