Chile launches massive enrollment process for public early childhood education

Chile has initiated a nationwide enrollment campaign, titled “Todos al Jardín,” for public nurseries and kindergartens for the 2027 school year. The application period began on October 19 and will remain open until November 27.

Authorities from the Undersecretariat of Early Childhood Education, JUNJI, and Fundación Integra led the launch of the campaign. The initiative aims to increase enrollment in the public network and bring educational offerings closer to families to promote regular attendance for children.

In the Magallanes region, Fundación Integra reported over 500 available spots across 11 kindergartens, including more than 200 vacancies for nurseries. The application process is conducted online via the official website. Additionally, new service hours were announced to better accommodate working parents, with facilities opening at 08:00 and closing at 18:45.
