Chile to implement daylight saving time in September 2026

Chile is scheduled to transition to daylight saving time on the night of Saturday, September 5, 2026. At 23:59, clocks will be advanced by 60 minutes to 01:00 on Sunday, September 6, bringing much of the continental territory to the UTC-3 time zone.

The adjustment will not apply to the Aysén and Magallanes regions, nor to Chilean Antarctica, which maintain UTC-3 permanently. Rapa Nui and Isla Salas y Gómez will adjust their clocks according to their local time, moving forward one hour at 22:00 on September 5.
