Chile TV ratings reveal top programs and new audience measurement for June 21‑22, 2026

Ibope released daily television audience measurements for Chilean open‑air TV on 21 June and 22 June 2026, covering a universe of 16.6 million viewers. The new methodology adds consumption on cable, digital platforms and mobile devices, using People Meter 7 tablets and Focal Meter devices that track viewing on smart screens, computers, tablets and smartphones. A key change is reporting absolute viewer numbers instead of percentages, allowing broadcasters and advertisers to see the exact audience size.

The most‑watched programmes were FIFA World Cup 2026 matches – Norway vs Senegal and Argentina vs Austria on 22 June, and Belgium vs Iran and Spain vs Saudi Arabia on 21 June – alongside local news, talk shows and entertainment slots on Chilevisión, Mega, Canal 13 and TVN. Ignacio Mirchak, Ibope’s Country Leader in Chile, said the digital shift in content consumption required an evolution in audience measurement and that the new data will “help optimise advertising investment and improve strategic decision‑making.”
