Chilean artists and authors represent nation at international cultural events

A group of printmaking students from the Casa Gonzalo Rojas Cultural Center has been selected to participate in the VII International Virtual Exhibition in Esquel, Argentina. Led by visual artist José Agustín Córdova, the entire workshop group will serve as the sole representatives from Chile in the event, which takes place this October. The exhibition is part of the municipality's annual printmaking month and features over 300 works from countries including Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Turkey, Thailand, Spain, and France.

In a separate cultural development, Chilean authors Alejandra Costamagna, María José Ferrada, and Juan Cristóbal Peña participated in the Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany as part of the Chilean delegation. This involvement serves as preparation for Chile’s upcoming role as the Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Buchmesse in October 2027, an initiative led by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage.
