Chilean Cultural Heritage Fund opens 2026 call with 5.5 billion pesos
The Cultural Heritage Fund has launched its 2026 call for proposals, offering a total of 5.5 billion Chilean pesos to support the conservation, research, restoration, and education of the country's cultural heritage. This eighth edition includes both national and regional funding lines.
Regional projects can apply for amounts ranging from 10 million to 80 million pesos, while certain national lines allow for up to 150 million pesos for works execution. The fund covers various areas, including the registration of heritage, the intervention of public monuments, the protection of intangible and indigenous heritage, and the safeguarding of traditions.
A new line has been introduced this year specifically for the conservation, restoration, and risk management of protected movable goods. Eligible applicants include individuals, legal entities, municipalities, public universities, organizations, and indigenous communities. The application period is open until October 8, 2026.
