Chilean Ministry of Cultures launches 2026 performing arts funding

Chile's Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage has opened the 2026 call for Performing Arts Trajectory Companies. Funded through the National Fund for Performing Arts, the initiative has a budget of 1,604,000,000 pesos to support 16 selected companies.

Supported companies in disciplines such as theater, dance, circus, puppetry, opera, and oral storytelling can create or revive works for their repertoire. The program aims to expand access to national productions by facilitating free performances in public cultural infrastructure and in regions outside of major capitals. Additionally, the program encourages knowledge transfer through workshops and laboratories for young artists and emerging companies.
