Chilean Minvu housing subsidy for female heads of household

The Chilean Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (Minvu) is accepting applications for the Tarjeta Banco de Materiales, a subsidy designed to assist female heads of household with home repairs. The program aims to benefit approximately 25,000 women and their families across the country.

Beneficiaries can receive between $613,000 and $1,635,000 via a digital card to purchase construction materials. The funds are intended for low-complexity technical improvements, specifically roof repairs, bathroom renovations, or the installation and replacement of perimeter fencing.

To qualify, applicants must be women aged 18 or older, hold Chilean nationality or permanent residency, and be ranked between the 70% and 100% socioeconomic qualification levels in the Social Household Registry (RSH). Additional requirements include residing in the property, being the owner or a family member of the owner, and having a minimum required savings amount.

The application process is conducted entirely online through the Minvu website using Clave Única. The deadline for submissions is October 9.
