Of the 56,956 applicants, 6,943 individuals were selected to acquire homes or build on their own land. The majority of these selected families (95.6%) intend to use the benefit for home acquisition. Expanding on material assistance, Minvu has announced the second phase of the ‘Tarjeta Banco de Materiales 2.0’ program. This initiative will provide 20,000 subsidies nationwide for low-complexity home repairs via gift cards for materials. Applications are scheduled from November 9 to December 9, 2026, with results expected in February 2027.
