Chilean thieves arrested after attempted house robbery in Hurlingham

Police responded to a 911 call about a burglary in progress at a house on Calle Debussy, corner Castro Barros, in Hurlingham, Argentina. Two suspects, Chilean nationals aged 17 and 30, entered the residence, stole several items including dollars, Boca Juniors shirts and a PosNet terminal, and tried to flee – one from the patio and the other from the roof. Officers surrounded the area, secured the roof and captured both individuals. All stolen goods were recovered and the suspects were taken to the UFI No. 8 in Morón, pending further legal action.

The rapid police response prevented any injuries; the homeowner, a 31‑year‑old man, was unharmed. The case is being pursued as attempted robbery.
