Chilean vineyards expand international market reach
Chilean family-owned vineyards are expanding their international presence through innovation and strategic market entry. In the Ñuble region, the Empresa Asociativa Campesina Moscin of Coelemu achieved a milestone by exporting 4,000 bottles of its Moscatel de Alejandría to Sweden. The wine was recognized by the Swedish state liquor monopoly, Systenbolaget, and featured in the newspaper Dagens Nyheter as one of the top three white wines available in February.
Simultaneously, wineries from the Maule region are targeting Latin American markets. A commercial mission organized by ProChile and the Asociación de Empresarios Vitivinícolas de Curicó y Maule A. G. recently took eight companies to Mexico, including meetings in Mexico City and Guadalajara. Additionally, five regional companies participated in the ProWine São Paulo fair in Brazil to promote their portfolios to importers and distributors.
