China deploys inspection teams for holiday safety prevention

Three Chinese government departments, including the Ministry of Emergency Management, the State Council Security Committee Office, and the National Office of Disaster Reduction, have deployed inspection teams to conduct unannounced visits across key industries and locations. This initiative aims to ensure safety and implement responsibility measures ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

Various provinces have reported significant inspection activities. Beijing has inspected over 4,070 enterprises, while Sichuan has deployed more than 4,960 inspectors to over 14,200 sites. Shandong is implementing a multi-level inspection strategy covering provinces, cities, and counties, and Shaanxi has organized several provincial and industry-specific inspection groups to target high-risk sectors.
