China pledges to facilitate international investment at CIFIT in Xiamen

The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) has commenced in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The event has attracted registrations from over 1,200 official government institutions and business delegations, representing 129 countries and regions as well as 30 international organizations.

During the opening ceremony, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng stated that China will continue to expand its voluntary opening and implement concrete measures to facilitate international investment. Han emphasized China's commitment to strengthening international cooperation in scientific, technological, and industrial innovation.

Addressing global economic challenges, Han noted that China aims to promote the development of global industrial and supply chains in a more stable and inclusive manner, advocating for the multilateral trading system amidst rising commercial protectionism and geopolitical risks.
