China International Fair for Investment and Trade

Overview

The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) opened in Xiamen, Fujian Province, drawing registrations from over 1,200 government institutions and business delegations representing 129 countries and 30 international organizations.

At the opening ceremony, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng pledged to expand China’s voluntary opening and implement measures to facilitate international investment. He emphasized strengthening cooperation in scientific, technological, and industrial innovation to promote stable and inclusive global supply chains amidst geopolitical risks and protectionism.

Saudi Arabia participated in the event as a guest of honor. Led by the Ministry of Investment, the Saudi delegation focused on strengthening industrial and investment partnerships in sectors including advanced manufacturing, mining, energy, petrochemicals, and renewable energy. The participation aims to convert strategic consensus between China and Saudi Arabia into actionable projects through workshops and industry showcases.
