Chinese automakers expand SUV offerings in Poland

Chinese automotive brands are expanding their premium and family SUV presence in the Polish market with competitive pricing and high-performance specifications.

Omoda, a premium brand under the Chery conglomerate, has introduced the Omoda 9 Exclusive Black. This flagship plug-in hybrid SUV features a combined power output of 537 KM and a total range of up to 1,100 km (including over 100 km on electric power). Priced at 224,900 PLN, it competes with established models from Hyundai, Skoda, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

Simultaneously, BYD is promoting the Sealion 7, a large SUV designed to blend family utility with sporty performance. The vehicle offers power options of 313 or 530 KM, with the top version capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Following recent promotions, prices for the Sealion 7 start at 187,000 PLN. The model includes standard features such as a heat pump and dual trunks, with a rear capacity of 512 liters and a front storage compartment of 58 liters.
