Chinese automakers Hongqi and Jetour unveil new electric vehicle models

Several new electric vehicle models have been unveiled in China. FAW’s premium brand, Hongqi, debuted the Tiangong 07 electric limousine at the Chengdu Auto Show. The model, part of a dedicated electrified line, features a redesigned interior with a new dashboard and a dual-spoke steering wheel. It is available with either two-wheel or all-wheel drive, with high-performance versions capable of producing up to 530 kW. The vehicle includes an autopilot system equipped with a lidar sensor.

Additionally, Jetour, a brand under the Chery group, is preparing for the market launch of its first series-production electric vehicle, the Tourer. Following its homologation by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, official images of the compact crossover have been released. The Tourer features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 chip for its multimedia system and is equipped with the Falcon 500 autonomous driving system.
