Chinese automotive brands showcase new models at ExpoAutoChino

Chinese automotive brands Jetour and Maxus showcased their latest vehicle lineups at the ExpoAutoChino event in Argentina.

Jetour announced the upcoming arrival of the G700, a premium off-road SUV expected to launch in the country in 2027. The G700 features a three-motor plug-in hybrid system with a combined power output of 903 CV and a range exceeding 1,400 km. Built on the GAIA architecture, the vehicle includes advanced technology such as a 15.6-inch central console, Lexicon by Harman sound system, and various driver assistance packages. The model is positioned to compete in the high-end 4x4 market, with estimated prices exceeding $100,000.

Maxus, represented in Argentina by Grupo Empresario Prieto, presented a diverse portfolio including the T60 pickup line, which features variants ranging from single-cab work models to the high-performance T60 MAX. The brand also emphasized electrification with the eTerron 9, described as the first 100% electric pickup in Argentina, and the eDeliver 5, a compact electric van designed for urban environments.
