In India, JSW MG Motor is preparing to launch the Hector Hawk, a seven-seater SUV scheduled for release on August 26, 2026. This model will be the first to utilize MG’s new ADAPT architecture, designed to support electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and range extenders. Based on the Wuling Starlight 560, the SUV is expected to feature a 2,810mm wheelbase and a plug-in hybrid configuration pairing a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 20.5 kWh battery, producing approximately 194 to 197 hp. Pre-bookings have reportedly commenced with a token amount of ₹21,000.

In China, MG has expanded its lineup with the MG 07 sedan, offering seven versions including fully electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options. The entry-level PHEV starts at approximately 108,900 yuan. The electric variants utilize an 800V architecture with driving ranges up to 845 km under the CLTC cycle, while the PHEV version offers a combined range of up to 1,745 km.
