Chinese motorcycle manufacturers ZXMoto and Kove reveal new models

Chinese motorcycle manufacturers are expanding their product lineups and international presence. ZXMoto has revealed the production version of its 820X adventure motorcycle, which features a significant redesign from its previous EICMA concept. The production model includes a redesigned headlight configuration, a wider windscreen, and robust aluminum engine protection. It is powered by an 819cc three-cylinder engine producing 85 kW, allowing for a top speed of 220 km/h and a weight of 218 kg.

ZXMoto is also seeing success in competitive racing; its 820RR model has secured multiple victories in the FIM Supersport World Championship. The company has announced plans to enter the Australian market with various models, including the 500RR and 820RR.

Simultaneously, Kove has released preliminary data for the upcoming 660X adventure motorcycle in the Chinese market. Positioned as an evolution of the 625X, the 660X features an increased displacement of 626 cc and a power output of 49 kW. The new model is designed to be 3 kg lighter than the 625X when equipped with luggage, targeting riders seeking a balance between asphalt and off-road performance.
