Chinese solar firms secure 742 MW overseas orders and unveil 27.5% efficient module

Chinese photovoltaic manufacturers expanded their international footprint with multiple contracts. Trina Solar signed a three‑year agreement to supply 600 MW of Vertex N G3 and Vertex S+ G3 modules to Ecohope Solar for markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, with Thailand highlighted as a key market. Risen Energy agreed to deliver 70 MW of high‑efficiency HJT "Hyper‑ion" modules to a Ghanaian energy partner, following a prior 40 MW project. Aiko Solar completed a 72 MW ground‑mounted plant in Germany using 110,566 ABC modules, delivering a 4.8 % capacity boost and 7 % higher lifetime generation compared with conventional TOPCon modules.

At the SNEC PV+ 2026 exhibition, Suntech introduced its Ultra T 3.0 quarter‑cut module built on n‑type TOPCon technology, achieving 27.5 % cell efficiency and up to 90 % bifaciality. The product line also includes anti‑soiling, anti‑glare modules and integrated energy‑storage solutions, targeting utility‑scale, commercial and residential applications worldwide.
