Chinese robotics startups secure major funding for medical and AI tech

Chinese robotics startups Milebot Robotics and Daimon Robotics have secured significant strategic investments to advance medical and physical AI technologies.

Milebot Robotics, a manufacturer of medical exoskeletons, raised approximately 100 million yuan (2.4 billion yen) from China Securities. The company, which specializes in flexible actuators for rehabilitation, reported a 200% increase in performance for 2025, with overseas sales accounting for over one-third of its revenue. Milebot is currently expanding its product lines in lower limb rehabilitation, elderly care, and daily walking assistance.

Daimon Robotics, a developer of high-performance vision-tactile sensors, secured several hundred million yuan in funding from investors including Ant Group. The company’s sensors are utilized by approximately 80% of robot hand manufacturers. Daimon is focusing on its 'Daimon-TWM' model, which integrates vision, touch, language, and motion to enable precise robotic manipulation in manufacturing and electronics assembly. The company is also building 'Daimon-Infinity,' a massive physical world dataset, in collaboration with China Mobile.
