Chinese SUVs GAC Emzoom and Bestune T77 debut in Poland with steep discounts
GAC Group introduced its Emzoom compact SUV to the Polish market with a promotional price of 99,900 zł, roughly 25,000 zł below the catalogue price. The Emzoom, built in China since 2023, competes with models such as the Skoda Karoq, Nissan Qashqai and Kia Niro. It is powered by a 1.5‑litre turbo‑charged gasoline engine delivering 170 hp and 270 Nm, paired with a front‑wheel‑drive 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, 18‑inch alloy wheels and hidden door handles.
Bestune launched the T77, positioned as a low‑price rival to the Kia Sportage, priced at 77,900 zł. The T77 also uses a 1.5‑litre turbo gasoline engine, rated at 160 hp and 258 Nm, with a front‑wheel‑drive 7‑speed DCT. Its dimensions place it slightly larger than the SEAT Ateca, and it offers a 381‑litre boot. Fuel consumption is quoted at 8.3 L/100 km. Both models aim to capture market share in Poland’s crowded compact SUV segment by offering extensive equipment at markedly reduced prices.
