Chioggia showcased on Rai 1’s ‘Linea Blu – Porti d’Italia’ on 1 August

On Saturday 1 August 2026, the Italian TV channel Rai 1 will broadcast a special episode of the series “Linea Blu – Porti d’Italia” dedicated to the lagoon city of Chioggia in Veneto. The programme, produced in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the national port system, will air at 14:00 and be streamed on RaiPlay.

Hosts Donatella Bianchi and Livio Beshir will guide viewers through Chioggia’s historic canals, commercial port, fishing activities and surrounding marine biodiversity. The episode includes on‑water footage from Captain Marco Tiozzo’s Mini Bragozzo Ulisse and from Antonia Zennaro’s traditional boat, visits to the Ponte Vigo and the island of Pellestrina, and highlights the nearby shipwreck of the Evdokia as a marine habitat.
