Chipotle announces back-to-school BOGO and student rewards

Chipotle has announced a series of back-to-school promotions, including a “School Spirit BOGO” deal and a “Chipotle Sundays” offer.

On August 20, customers at participating locations who wear school apparel—such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, jerseys, or hats from middle school, high school, or college—can purchase one entrée and receive a second one for free. This in-restaurant promotion begins at 3 p.m. local time.

Additionally, the company is running a “Chipotle Sundays” promotion on August 23, August 30, and September 6. Customers in the US and Canada who order two or more entrées via the Chipotle app or website after 3 p.m. can receive a third entrée for free using the promo code “SUNDAYS”.

The company is also highlighting its “Chipotle U Rewards” program, a loyalty initiative designed for college students that offers bonus points upon sign-up and increased point earnings on purchases.
