CHP faces internal resignations as dismissed provincial leaders protest
Former CHP provincial chairman Anıl Tanburoğlu, removed from his post in Adana by the appointed party administration, gathered supporters at the party headquarters, denounced the dismissals and pledged to continue the struggle alongside newly elected leader Özgür Özel. He criticized the current government and urged members not to accept the situation as final.
Yeşilyurt municipal council member Osman Akyol also resigned from the CHP, condemning the removal of provincial and district chairpersons and describing it as a systematic purge against the party’s democratic traditions. Akyol expressed support for the elected leadership of Özgür Özel and said he would continue his municipal duties independently.
