Chris Hemsworth trains in Costa Rica for upcoming Netflix film Extraction 3

Actor Chris Hemsworth shared a video of an intensive workout in Costa Rica, using resistance bands, kettlebells and body‑weight exercises to prepare for the role of mercenary Tyler Rake in Netflix’s upcoming sequel Extraction 3. The training footage, posted to his Instagram, signals that principal photography for the film is set to begin soon.

Bond It Media Capital confirmed that Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani will appear alongside Hemsworth in the third instalment, continuing the storyline from Extraction 2. The project is overseen by the Russo brothers through AGBO, and Hemsworth’s conditioning also supports his upcoming appearances as Thor in Marvel’s future films.
