Christian Horner unlikely to return to Formula 1, says former driver Christian Danner

Former Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner was dismissed after two decades at the helm and received a £75‑80 million settlement. Since his exit, media speculation has linked him with a possible comeback at teams such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren or Mercedes.

Former Formula 1 driver and analyst Christian Danner told OLBG that a return “is not very likely”. He warned that Horner would “destroy the structure” at any top team, adding that McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes “don’t need him”. Danner suggested Horner simply enjoy his wealth rather than pursue a new role in the sport.
