Veteran international journalist Christiane Amanpour is set to conclude her career at CNN in June. Having joined the network in 1983, she has served as an international anchor since 2012, gaining recognition for her coverage of global armed conflicts.

Her departure comes amid a period of transition for the network following the acquisition of CNN’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, by David Ellison’s Paramount Skydance.
