Various Brazilian and Portuguese municipalities host seasonal and anniversary events

Numerous cities across Brazil and Portugal are hosting diverse cultural, religious, and commemorative events. In Brazil, several municipalities are celebrating anniversaries: Gurupi is marking 68 years with musical performances and infrastructure deliveries, while Massaranduba celebrates 65 years with a 65-meter cake and sports festivals. Poços de Caldas is celebrating its 154th anniversary with public services and cultural activities, and the Casa de Xadrez has been revitalized as part of the festivities.

Seasonal holiday programming is also widespread. Curitiba is hosting its tenth edition of Natal de Curitiba, featuring over 150 attractions. Angra dos Reis will open its Vila do Noel on November 25, and Várzea Grande is beginning its Christmas season with parades and school choirs. In Espinho, Portugal, the local council is accepting applications for a Christmas Market at Parque João de Deus.

Other regional activities include the first street rehearsal for the União de Maricá samba school in preparation for Carnival 2027, wine tasting fairs in Brasília, and accessibility seminars in São Lourenço, Minas Gerais.
