Chuang Sze-man and Chuang Sze-wah involved in public family dispute
A public dispute has emerged between Malaysian-born sisters Chuang Sze-man and Chuang Sze-wah following the death of their mother, Jiang Yuzhu, in August 2026. The tension began after Chuang Sze-man appeared on the TVB program ‘Xuan Zhan’, where she participated in a spiritual medium session intended to facilitate a ‘conversation’ with her late mother.
Chuang Sze-wah expressed dissatisfaction on social media, suggesting that those who provided the least companionship to their mother during her life should not be the ones speaking the most after her passing. She emphasized that family matters should remain private.
In response, Chuang Sze-man posted several messages on Instagram, quoting the late singer Chan Pak-cheung and stating, ‘Some relationships, as long as you decide ‘I don’t want it anymore’, the problem is solved.’ She expressed that her attempts at concession had only resulted in further hurt.
Separately, lawyer and host Kong Jing-ching recently discussed the ‘Chuang Po case’ on her program, noting that the sisters' late father, Dato' Chuang Po, was previously involved in a significant commercial fraud case in Hong Kong.
