Cinemark opens first large‑scale commercial cinema in Villa Lugano, Buenos Aires

Cinemark inaugurated a five‑screen cinema complex at the Factory Parque Brown shopping centre on Av. Fernández de la Cruz 4602 in Villa Lugano. The venue, with a capacity of over 1,000 seats, is the first large‑scale commercial cinema in the southern Comuna 8 district of Buenos Aires, an area that had lacked any cinema for decades. Residents previously travelled 10‑12 kilometres to watch films in other neighbourhoods. The new complex improves local entertainment access, with easy connections via bus lines 101, 114, 143, 145, 150 and the Premetro station Escalada. Community reactions on social media were enthusiastic, welcoming the long‑awaited addition to the neighbourhood.
