Cinematark opens five‑screen cinema complex in Villa Lugano, Argentina

A new Cinemark multiplex opened in Villa Lugano, Buenos Aires, on Av. Fernández de la Cruz 4602 within the Factory Parque Brown development. The complex features five screens with a total capacity of about 1,000 seats, replacing the former need for residents to travel 10‑12 km to the nearest cinemas in Flores or Caballito.

The inauguration was attended by Buenos Aires mayor Jorge Macri, who said the city “supports cinema as a source of culture, entertainment and jobs,” and subsecretary Marcelo Di Mario, who highlighted the project’s role in the south‑city development plan that aims to boost housing, logistics and employment. The venue is part of a larger commercial area with over 80 stores, a Jumbo hyper‑market and a food court, creating new jobs and expanding cultural options for the neighbourhood.
