Circuit of the Americas to debut giant cowboy hat bar

The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin is preparing to unveil a massive 75-foot (approximately 23-meter) cowboy hat that functions as a themed bar. Located within the Lone Star Land entertainment area, the fiberglass structure is designed to celebrate Texas culture and serve as a permanent tourist attraction for the circuit.

COTA President Bobby Epstein stated the goal is to create a recognizable landmark that attracts visitors year-round, even outside of Formula 1 race weekends. The installation is currently undergoing the process to be recognized by Guinness World Records, with an official representative expected to inspect the site prior to the United States Grand Prix.

If successful, the structure would surpass existing regional landmarks, such as a 10.74-meter cowboy boot sculpture in San Antonio. The Lone Star Land area will also feature western-themed activities, including dance performances and rope demonstrations.
