Circuit of the Americas cowboy hat installation
Overview
The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin prepared to debut a massive cowboy hat themed bar within its Lone Star Land entertainment area. The fiberglass structure was intended to serve as a permanent tourist attraction and a recognizable landmark to draw visitors outside of Formula 1 race weekends.
Following the installation, COTA and the Austin-based brand Tecovas officially unveiled the structure, which is a to-scale recreation of the Tecovas Cattleman hat. Measuring 43 feet wide, 47 feet long, and 17 feet tall, the monument houses a fully operational Western-themed bar. The installation was officially certified by Guinness World Records on October 19, 2026.
