Circuit Zandvoort begins dismantling Formula 1 facilities

Logistical operations are underway at Circuit Zandvoort to dismantle the facilities following the recent Formula 1 weekend. A large-scale teardown involving trucks, dismantling crews, and heavy equipment is currently in progress to remove grandstands and temporary structures from the site.

This event marks the conclusion of a significant era for the circuit, as the Dutch Grand Prix is not scheduled to return to the Formula 1 calendar next year. Over the past six years, the event attracted an average of more than 300,000 visitors per edition. Financial considerations, including the lack of government support and the necessity of selling out all three days to break even, have contributed to the end of the race at this location.

Prior to the conclusion of the racing activities, the event weekend was opened with a high-energy performance by the musical group Snollebollekes. Rob Kemps led the performance for an audience of approximately 20,000 people to kick off the festivities.
