Citi offers American Airlines co-branded credit cards

Citi offers various co-branded credit cards for American Airlines loyalists, including the AAdvantage Platinum Select and the Executive Platinum card.

The AAdvantage Platinum Select card currently features a limited-time offer of 80,000 bonus miles after spending $3,500 within the first four months. This card includes a waived annual fee for the first year, free checked bags for the cardholder and up to four companions on domestic itineraries, and 2X miles on gas, restaurants, and eligible American Airlines purchases. The Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard carries a $595 annual fee but provides a full Admirals Club membership, offering access to nearly 50 lounge locations worldwide. This premium card allows cardholders to earn 1 Loyalty Point for every $1 spent on all eligible purchases, assisting in the qualification for AAdvantage elite status tiers.
