Citroën launches affordable electric models in France and Turkey
Citroën announced the ë‑C3 Tonic special‑edition in France, priced just under €21,000 after EU incentive credits. The model offers two battery options – a 30 kWh pack with a WLTP urban range of 206 km and a 44 kWh pack delivering 309 km – and distinctive styling cues such as a bi‑tone roof and bold colour accents. The launch aims to strengthen Citroën’s position as the third‑largest electric‑vehicle seller in France, where the ë‑C3 recorded 16,223 registrations in 2025.
In Turkey, Citroën partnered with surf‑wear brand Rip Curl to sell a limited‑run Ami Rip Curl edition. The two‑seat electric city car, with a 75 km range, is offered in Sunrise and Sunset versions and carries a price tag of 630,000 TL. The model combines eco‑friendly mobility with vibrant surf‑inspired design details, targeting urban drivers seeking a compact, zero‑emission vehicle.
Both launches underscore Citroën’s strategy to broaden its low‑cost electric‑vehicle portfolio across European markets.
