Citroën unveils electric version of iconic 2CV at €15,000 price

French automaker Citroën announced the relaunch of its historic 2CV model, popularly known as the “Ugly Duck,” as a fully electric vehicle. The new electric 2CV will be offered at a starting price of roughly €15,000, according to company executive Xavier Chardon. The move positions the classic car within Citroën’s modern, low‑emission lineup while preserving its recognizable design.
