Mexico expands cultural programming through musical theater and artistic workshops

Various cultural initiatives are being launched across Mexico to promote artistic training and performance. In Cancún, the Benito Juárez Municipality and PHAIS Entertainment are presenting ‘Broadway Nights’ at the Teatro de la Ciudad. This original production features live music, dance, and acting, incorporating themes from famous musicals such as Wicked, Hamilton, and The Phantom of the Opera.

In Ciudad Juárez, the Institute for the Culture of the Municipality of Juárez (IPACULT), in collaboration with the Las Misiones Shopping Center, has launched the ‘De Oriente a Poniente’ program. This multidisciplinary initiative, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Centro Municipal de las Artes (CMA), includes specialized workshops such as a music production course led by the project Not By Me and a cinematography clinic hosted by the Creativos del Desierto collective. These activities aim to provide professional tools and strengthen cultural rights within the community.
