Mexican officials attend NADBank Summit to boost binational cooperation

Mexican officials and regional leaders participated in the NADBank Summit 2026 in San Antonio, Texas, to strengthen binational cooperation regarding border infrastructure, economic development, and sustainability. Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, the licensed mayor of Ciudad Juárez, and acting mayor Héctor Ortiz Orpinel attended the summit to discuss shared challenges such as water management, mobility, environmental protection, and urban growth.

In addition to the summit, Nuevo León Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda conducted a working tour in Austin, Texas. The delegation met with business leaders and the Texas Office of Economic Development and Tourism to promote the Nuevo León–Texas Binational Strategy, focusing on technology, innovation, and investment opportunities to enhance regional competitiveness.
