Mexican police conduct multiple rescue and arrest operations across states

Police forces in several Mexican states carried out a series of operations targeting illegal detention, vehicle theft and drug‑related crimes. In Zapopan, authorities rescued four young men who had been tied and beaten inside a house in Lomas de Tesistán. In Ciudad Juárez, state police freed five migrants being held against their will and arrested an 18‑year‑old suspect found with a firearm. A coordinated sweep in 21 municipalities of Veracruz recovered 218 stolen vehicles, seized dozens of drug doses and liberated multiple victims of illegal confinement, while also detaining dozens of suspects linked to health‑related offenses and human‑trafficking. Additional arrests were made in other localities: two brothers were caught with crystal and linked to a series of vehicle robberies; two armed men were intercepted after a homicide and found with cocaine; and ten individuals with active warrants for narcotics offenses were taken into custody. The operations were supported by surveillance platforms such as Centinela and “Juárez Vigilante,” highlighting a broader push by Mexican authorities to combat organized crime and protect vulnerable persons.
