Ciudad Real and San Roque unveil 2026 fair celebrations and heralds

Journalist Laura Espinar Sánchez, a longtime media professional from Ciudad Real, will serve as the pregonera for the Feria y Fiestas 2026 honoring the Virgen del Prado, scheduled for 14‑22 August. Espinar, former director of Diario Lanza and former head of the municipal press office, has been recognized with the Insignia de Oro and will deliver her opening speech at the Antiguo Casino after the ceremony naming exemplary citizens.

In the Andalusian town of San Roque, the municipal government presented the official poster for the Feria Real 2026, created by local designer Camino Viñayo. The artwork features a full moon framing a flamenco‑dressed woman and a historic street. Mayor Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix and other officials highlighted the fair’s schedule, which will run from 11 to 16 August, following the conclusion of the Feria de San Enrique and the Velada de Miraflores.

Both events aim to attract residents and visitors, celebrating regional culture and traditions during the summer of 2026.
