CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi continues into fifth day

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has maintained a sit‑in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for four consecutive days, entering a fifth on Wednesday. Party founder Abhijit Deepak (also referred to as Deepak) rebuked Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for labeling the movement a “B‑team of terrorists” after the minister’s remarks about student suicides.

Deepak also told a committee of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology that officials refused to show a directive that supposedly ordered the blocking of his social‑media accounts. He argued that the same confidentiality rationale was not applied to the NEET exam paper leak, which he says contributed to student deaths. The protestors demand justice for students and accuse the government of suppressing dissent while branding other groups as terrorists.

The demonstration remains peaceful, with CJP leaders asserting they will not vacate the site until their demands are addressed.
