Clara Camarão refinery hikes gasoline and diesel prices in Guamaré

The Clara Camarão refinery in Guamaré, Rio Grande do Norte announced a second consecutive weekly increase in fuel prices. Gasoline A rose from R$ 3.80 to R$ 3.86 per litre, while diesel A S500 increased to R$ 4.51 (EXA) and R$ 4.52 (LCT) per litre, each up R$ 0.10. Since 19 February, gasoline has risen R$ 1.35 per litre and diesel A S500 about R$ 1.22‑1.23 per litre. The refinery prices remain below the highest levels recorded earlier in the year, but they are passed on to consumers after taxes, distribution costs and retail margins are added.
